Kate Dent
Kate has been with Northamptonshire Enterprise since its inception transferring from Explore Northamptonshire as Head of Sales and Marketing.
A Brighton University graduate, Kate has significant private sector experience including seven years with JFK, Newark and La Guardia Airports as Aviation Representative in the European office; principally a Marketing and Business Development role.
As Visitor Economy Champion Kate has helped establish a range of foundation place marketing projects including the Let Yourself Grow brand; Tourism Forum; Northamptonshire Heritage projects; Northamptonshire Leather and the highly regarded Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards; currently in their third year and contributing to a significant increase in business for the county’s food and drink sector.
Kate’s current role as Head of Marketing and Communications involves leading a team with responsibility for promoting key sectors as well as developing a stronger corporate / business investment positioning and delivering core foundation projects. Kate continues to work closely with a range of partners including Carlsberg, Booker, Northamptonshire County Council, National Trust and English Heritage.
