Following the announcement at the beginning of September of the £750,000 of European funding (EAFRD) being made available to small and growing rural businesses across Northamptonshire, NEP is holding three drop-in information sessions for would-be applicants.
This Wednesday 23 September will see the first of these sessions hosted by dedicated rural business advisers who will provide information, advice and guidance on this funding opportunity as part of NEP’s commitment to boosting economic growth and prosperity in the rural sector.
On Wednesday the session will take place at South Northants Council offices between 10.00am and 1.00pm. The remaining sessions will be held at the iCon Centre, Daventry on 2 October and East Northants council offices on 13 October – both between 10.00am and 1.00pm.

New generation of free business workshops
NEP has also developed two new programmes of business support for the county’s new and growing businesses countywide.
The first is specifically for new or potential business owners - Business Start-up Workshops - a three-workshop programme dedicated to Business Planning, Marketing and Sales.
The other is for established businesses of three years or more; Business Growth, Marketing & Sales Workshops -also a three-workshop programme focuses on Resetting Your Growth Plan, Systemising Sales and Automated Marketing.
