Following a spell in industry, Mark has worked extensively in media and corporate communications for more than 20 years.
In 1990, he joined Northcliffe Newspapers as a publicist and subsequently feature writer. He also played a major part in organising some of Leicestershire's biggest stage and outdoor events.
In the late nineties, Mark became Media & Corporate Communications Manager for Leicester City Football - the first role of its kind in the game and one which saw him develop marketing and public relations strategies and write and edit club publications.
Latterly, Mark has helped build a marketing strategy for Orange and an internal communications network for University Hospitals of Leicester. Before joining NEP, his most recent challenge was as Marketing Communications Officer for POPAI UK & Ireland - a trade association for the retail marketing industry.
At NEP, Mark is responsible for overseeing website content, maintaining the news and events element of NEP's corporate website and undertaking public relations activity. He is also a copywriter for marketing and other collateral and recently partnered the production of the Northamptonshire Visitor Guide.
